    Eastside outdoor fitness is a group fitness program which is held outdoors, commonly referred to as a bootcamp. It incorporates a combination of cardiovascular exercises, strength training, and interval training. It aims to provide a full-body workout in a motivating and dynamic environment.

  • Are you BMF?

    While we're immensely proud of our heritage with British Military Fitness, it's important to clarify that we no longer have any affiliation with any form of Army Bootcamp Fitness or BMF.

  • What should I bring to an outdoor fitness class?

    For your comfort and safety, wear suitable workout attire and supportive shoes, and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. Apply sunscreen and wear a hat for sun protection, and consider insect repellent in warmer months. In colder weather, pack spare dry clothes. Please avoid bringing exercise or yoga mats, as we move around the park. Use a small rucksack for essentials, but leave valuables like laptops at home.

  • Do I need to be super-fit to join

    Bootcamps are designed for participants of all fitness levels. Exercises can be modified to suit individual needs, whether you're a beginner or more experienced. Our instructors are experienced in adapting workouts to accommodate all fitness levels.

  • What can I expect from a typical class?

    Expect a varied and challenging workout that may include running, bodyweight exercises, strength training using equipment like resistance bands or kettlebells, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT). All classes are led by a qualified instructor who will guide you through each exercise.

    Yes, all of our classes are beginner-friendly. Our instructors will provide modifications for exercises to suit your fitness level. We encourage all participants to work at their own pace and gradually progress as they become more comfortable with the exercises.

    We train in all weather conditions. Our classes run rain or shine, unless weather conditions pose a significant risk. Please come prepared with appropriate attire for the weather conditions. We'll notify participants promptly of any cancellations or changes via email or social media.

    Yes. You need to be 16 years old or above to join us for a workout.
